Celfavor® Reduced

Coenzyme Q10

Core Product Advantages

divider
  • Reduced Coenzyme Q10 (Ubiquinol) is the active form, directly absorbable by the human body and more effective for antioxidation and energy supply. Oxidized Coenzyme Q10 (Ubiquinone) is stable but requires in vivo conversion, whose efficiency declines with age. Therefore, reduced Coenzyme Q10 shows significantly superior efficacy in the body.
  • However, reduced Coenzyme Q10 has extremely unstable chemical properties, is easy to oxidize and intolerant to gastric acid, and is easily inactivated during processing, storage and human absorption, affecting its bioavailability and efficacy.
  • Celfavor® Ubiquinol (Reduced Coenzyme Q10) uses microsphere encapsulation technology to enhance stability and absorption efficiency, supporting energy metabolism and cell protection, suitable for middle-aged, elderly and fatigue-prone people.

Limitations of Conventional Reduced Coenzyme Q10

Core Product Advantages

Unstable

Ordinary reduced Coenzyme Q10 has highly unstable chemical properties and is easily oxidized and degraded by light, temperature, humidity, air contact and gastric acid, greatly limiting its wide application.

High stability

Celfavor®'s patented microsphere technology significantly improves active substance stability, ensuring no degradation at room temperature (protected from light) for 36 months, and no degradation in gastric acid.

Extremely low bioavailability

Easily degraded during room-temperature storage and in the gastric acid environment, unable to reach the intestinal tract for absorption.

High bioavailability

It achieves 100% stable retention in the stomach, followed by targeted intestinal release; controlled sustained release in the intestine drastically boosts absorption efficiency.

Stable compounding

Suitable for hard capsules, can be compounded with other ingredients.

Comparison of the effect of increasing whole blood Coenzyme Q10

Mice weighing 20 g were intragastrically administered 20 mg/kg · d of oxidized CoQ10, reduced CoQ10, and Celfavor® reduced CoQ10 respectively for 2 consecutive weeks. Blood was collected from the medial canthus 2 hours after the last administration, and the levels of CoQ10, SOD, CAT, and GPx in whole blood were determined.
